Happy Mother's Day

I am so loving the newest impressions folder found in the current mini catalog. The dots are just perfect. In this card I used the folder on the body of the card with Pixie pink card stock and then again on the hat made with so saffron cardstock textured 1st then punched out with the #2 or 1 3/4" circle and #5 the 1" circle punches...then sponge daubed with so saffron ink on the edges. Added checkered DSP from the SAB catalog. one of the boho blossoms punch flower and white gel pen in the center. For the body of the card I used tempting turquoise and white card stock punched with the new scallop punch from the SAB mini. Words are from the current mini catalog Well Scripted stamped in the tempting turquoise ink. $2.50

Wine Bottle gift pouch

What a lovely way to present a bottle of wine the next time you visit a friend. This is a beautiful flower made using the ornament punch. The cardstock is summer sun sponged with real red ink on the edges of each petal. The leaves are made with the scallop oval punch using Always Artichoke cardstock and then cutting into them with scissors. The body of the gift pouch is made with Craft Cardstock, a strip of real red, and a strip of white with scalloped edges. These edges were made with the SAB punch which I believe will be in the new years catalog in July. Words are also from the SAB catalog Whimsical Words, stamped in Chocolate Chip ink. $2.50 each.

Stampin' Up! retiring colors

Sadly Stampin' Up! will be changing their Color Families. Click on the picture to see the colors that will be retiring in June of 2010. This means the Cardstock, markers, Ink Pads,re-inkers, crayons, and chalks will no longer be available as of July1st. Thank You Flower Cards

This card was made using Eastern Blooms and God's Blessing Stamp Sets. The flowers are pixie pink cardstock with clear embossing powder.Each flower is individually hand cut. Cardstock colors: Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Pixie Pink and White. Barely Banana brads. Words are stamped in Pumpkin Pie and the edges are sponged with both Pumpkin Pie and Pixie Pink. The background is another Eastern Bloom flower stamped in Summer Sun Ink Pad. $2.50 ea.
